Long Time, No Journals

I have been crazy busy over this last year, working a lot of hours and a lot of nights *sighs* but at least I have a job I guess.  Some days are great and go perfectly and other days I lose faith in the entire human race. On those days I think a little piece of me dies inside. Oh well, for every great person you meet there are bound to be three assholes that come to follow.

Anyways, Dante is getting huge. I have not uploaded any recent pics but he is the best damn dog I have ever had. He will be a year old in July. He knows a bunch of tricks and minds me pretty well. He is still a little shy around some people, I think he knows "good" people from "bad" that is why he will go right up to some people and completely avoid others. He still needs to work on not barking at dogs who bark at him, or the cat that lives across the street and just sits in front of the fence to tease the dogs I think.

It is alright down here in Ohio, I guess I am getting used to it. I do miss the beaches and lakes in MI. Most of all I miss my friends a lot. I don't get out much with other people other than Nic and the girls I work with sometimes. They just aren't the same though.

Hopefully by next summer Nic and I will be getting a house. A nice big place of our own will be great. A big yard so Dante can run. We have a plan to get Dante a little brother or sister shortly after we move. I can't wait to have a puppy around again. Dobermans just grow up so fast.
There is a breeder who comes into the Vet clinic I work at and she has very nice looking black and tan as well as red and tan Dobermans. We would like to get a little red and tan girl but we will have to see what happens.

Overall my year has been a busy one.
